Everybody alive holds or has held qualities about themselves that did not represent the love they hold in their heart. These qualities lie deep in the dark of our souls and as human-beings, we often tend to push them to the side to never be addressed.
During the month of April, “Dark night of the soul” allows opportunities for individuals to face their shadow side and put in the REAL work on self. (aka shadow work).
Without expressing any words, this yoga practice focuses on recognizing self-sabotaging habits and bringing them to the surface in conjunction with deep breath work and the releasing of certain emotions, ideas, and/or pain tied to these behaviors.
This is inner work, and it’s performed every session in the dark to induce inner healing, self discovery, and growth on our personal journeys.
